St. George Area Parade of Homes--Celebrating 20 Years of Building a Community

With just a few weeks until the opening day of the 20th Annual St. George Area Parade of Homes, excitement is building for the celebration of 20 years of making a positive impact in Southern Utah. Hundreds of home building professionals are working feverishly to complete 25 beautiful new homes by opening day, February 12, 2010.

As we celebrate 20 years in building a community, the St. George Area Parade of Homes will continue to make a positive impact in building Southern Utah. Over 460 Parade homes have been built in Washington County the last 20 years. Many community service organizations have benefited directly from the Parade of Homes including Habitat for Humanity and $146,000 has gone to providing education scholarships. Over 423,000 visitors have attended with approximately half coming from Northern Utah. The economic benefit to Washington County has been close to a half billion dollars! This event over the years has created thousands of jobs and continues to inspire people to be excited about the home industry in the midst of current economic struggles.
