Twelve Pets of Christmas at the Ivins Animal Shelter

Celebrate the holidays with your entire family – and consider a new four-legged family member, at the Twelve Pets of Christmas Event, Saturday December 12th, at the Ivins Animal Shelter.

The Friends of Ivins Animal Shelter, F.I.A.S, along with the Homeless Animal Rescue Team, H.A.R.T, are coming together to find homes for shelter animals, during this adoption event. Special Guest and animal advocate, Carl Lamar, will be broadcasting live on KONY Country Radio, from a cage at the shelter, and will remain behind bars until 12  pets are adopted or $5,000 is raised to help feed and house homeless cats and dogs. The event includes a fundraising silent auction, food and craft booths, pictures of your kids and pets with Santa Claus and much more. Adoption fees are reduced to $25 for dogs and $12 for cats. The event gets underway at 10:00 am and goes until 2:00 pm.

They look forward to this fun-filled family event to share holiday spirit with the homeless pets of Southern Utah.

Friends of Ivins Animal Shelter, is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation founded to support the "No Kill" philosophy. H.A.R.T. of Utah (Homeless Animal Rescue Team) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted animals that are killed at local shelters. They accomplish this through working directly with the public, offering them the help needed  to keep their pets, supporting spay/neuter programs, providing educational information to local school systems and working closely with other animal rescue groups to benefit all animals.
