Brett and Teryl Davis Win the Tunex – First Ever – Vehicle Giveaway





















Mike Cass, Owner of Tunex Complete Car Care (located in Washington, UT) was very excited to present Brett and Teryl Davis with Tunex’s First Ever Car Giveaway vehicle. Says Cass,” This was just an awesome opportunity for our company to really create some positive momentum and to truly impact a family’s life for the better. I can’t tell you how happy it makes us to give back in this way to a community that has been so supportive to us.” For the Davis’ the holidays seem to have come early this year, “Winning this car has been so exciting.  It’s a beautiful car, and we really needed it. Sometimes, like now for us, something like this can be life changing because it just helps you out so much.  We can’t say Thank You enough to Tunex. We so appreciate them and what they have done for our family.” explained Brett. The Davis’ have won a 1996 Dodge Stratus, 4 door and power windows, brakes and steering.

“Knowing that we have a reliable way to get around town to do the things we need to do and a safe vehicle to have our daughters in is such a blessing,” says Teryl. In order to win the vehicle, the Davis’ were nominated and the nomination form was judged among all of the other nominations by the Board of Directors for the St. George Chamber of Commerce and officially presented to the family on 11/11/2009. The Davis Family was picked based on the brief narrative as to why the nominees were deserving of the vehicle and their needs. Nomination forms were collected through 10/27/2009.

“I could not have asked for a better result with this contest. This being the first one that we have ever done, I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I have found, is that our community is filled with truly deserving people in need of our support. We hope that throughout this holiday season that everyone in our area takes a look at what the Tunex family has been able to do for these folks, and see what they can do for others as well. That would make and even greater impact on our community – and that’s what we really would like to do and something we would be proud to stand for.” said Mike Cass, Owner of Tunex.

Mike Cass, his family, and team members at Tunex have been giving back to the community for many years. The firm supports various charitable organizations such as: the Dove Center, Dixie Regional Medical Center Breast Cancer Foundation, Toys for Tots and Coins for Kids. For this particular event says Cass, “We just want to see this vehicle go to someone who is truly in need.  A gift like this could really make an impact in their life, and that’s exactly what our goal is with this event.”
