Veteran’s Benefits Workshop

Senior Vets – find out what you qualify for on Tuesday December 1st at 6:30 pm, BeeHive Cottages will present another FREE Veterans Workshop & Benefits Seminar in the BeeHive Cottages Community Center.  This workshop is specifically designed for Senior Veterans and the Surviving Spouses of Veterans. You can learn about how you can qualify for a little known, little used Veteran’s Benefit and receive up to $23,396 a year, TAX FREE!

A veteran, or the veteran's surviving spouse, may be eligible if the veteran served at least 90 days of active military service, one day of which was during a period of war, and was discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The location or branch of the service, stateside or overseas does not matter. Detailed information will be presented and questions will be answered. The required application forms and instructions will also be available at the workshop.  

It is estimated that over 25 million veterans qualify for these benefits, most of whom have no idea that they exist or how to qualify. These benefits can assist in paying for personal Home Care, Senior Independent Living Arrangements, Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Facilities. BeeHive Cottages is sponsoring this workshop & seminar as a public service to educate and inform our local veterans about these valuable benefits.
