Local Jeweler New President of Intermountain Jewelers Association

Tom Kraft of McArthur Jewelers was recently installed as President of the Intermountain Jewelers Association at their annual meeting in Midway, Utah , and will serve a two year term.  The Intermountain Jewelers is composed of approximately 130 jewelers from Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, and Utah.

“Our organization works to help independent jewelers maintain high standards in ethics, professionalism, and values”, says Tom.  We support educational programs aimed at helping jewelers compete in today’s economic environment.

Tom has been in the jewelry industry since 1980 where he was raised in his father’s jewelry store in Sheridan, Wyoming.  In 1998 he moved to St. George and met Tom McArthur and they became friends.  Within a year Tom Kraft knew that his first love was the jewelry business and began working at McArthur Jewelers in April of 1999.
