St. George's Downtown Farmers Market 2009

The Downtown Farmers Market will be holding its final market for the 2009 season on October 31, 2009. The Market runs from 8:00 am - 12:00 noon and will be held in the Courtyard at Ancestor Square in historical downtown, 1 West St. George Blvd. It is free to the public.

In addition to the farmers, bakers and artists/craftsman the market will feature Stillhouse Road playing their famous folk music in the center amphitheater from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. In celebration of Halloween there will be many activities for kids and adults. There will be a pumpkin carving contest, bobbing for apples, face painting and more. Prizes will include gift certificates to the Painted Pony Restaurant, Plant World Nursery, Shroomies and other great prizes from local businesses.  Raffle tickets will be sold for a grand prize drawing every hour. Prizes will be given for best costume, scariest costume, funniest costume and most creative costume.

Don't miss this great community event on Halloween morning, 8:00 am - 12:00 noon, October 31, 2009 at Ancestor Square.
