The Tanner 09 Summer Series presents A Dixieland Band "The Roadside Ramblers"

It’s not just music – it’s sheer Dixieland style excitement and total entertainment!  You will be hard pressed to find a more authentic and energetic New Orleans style Dixieland Band than the popular Roadside Ramblers.

This six-piece, good old fashioned, banjo pickin, tuba blowin, trumpet screemin, sax wailin, band plays traditional jazz music the way it was meant to be played.  They will be belting it out in concert at the Dixie State College O. C. Tanner Amphitheater in Springdale, Utah on Saturday, August 15, 8:00 pm.

This hot group sizzles through traditional jazz tunes with the lively tempo of the 1920's and cooks its way through swing and jazz tinged blues of the later eras.  The musical effect is at once entertaining, humorous and infectious and is sure to provide a concert of delightful entertainment for folks of all ages.

For a toe-tappin’, dancing good time don’t miss this captivating and scrumptious evening of pure Dixieland Jazz including When the Saints Go Marchin’ In, St. Louis Blues, Tiger Rag and Basin Street Blues.

Plan now to attend a summer of exciting entertainment at the Tanner Amphitheater. Visit out website for more information: www.dixie.edu/tanner.
