Curtis Anderson Named Vice President at SouthWest Federal Credit Union

Curtis Anderson has joined SouthWest Federal as the Vice President of Business Services. In his newly created position, Curtis will oversee the credit union’s business lending, including loans for small businesses (SBA loans) and all other commercial lending, and deposit services.

“We are very excited to have Curtis as part of our management team. He has an excellent record as a credit union executive, and a personal connection with members,” said Muriel Blake, president and CEO. “We look forward to the innovative ideas and expertise he brings to our credit union and how he can help our member businesses succeed.”

Curtis previously worked as a Vice President at Mountain America Credit Union, operating their business lending. He helped catapult their SBA lending program to be one of the top lenders in the nation. Prior to his work with credit unions, Curtis operated his own accounting firm and worked as a corporate controller. He is a 1986 graduate of Utah State University with a degree in Finance and has an MBA from Shepperton University, and is a certified Business Manager.

The VP Business Services position was created in order to meet the needs of member businesses and offer expanded services in addition to business checking and small business loans. Curtis will work closely with SouthWest Federal’s business services team comprised of Mike France and Kay Dennis.
