St.
George will be well represented in a new publication called "99 Things to do
in Utah" to be distributed soon statewide. Readers of the publication will
be directed to the St. George Area Chamber web-site where they will find only
Chamber members listed as places to dine, stay, and shop. The publication will
start appearing as early as next week at visitor centers, museums and other
"tourist" locations across Utah.
The
St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, as part of its effort to drive more
commerce to area businesses placed an advertisement in the publication as part
of its on-going effort to help its members in difficult economic times.
Publishers of "99 Things to do in Utah" report that Tuacahn will also
be prominently featured in the publication.
Buy
Local First and "Destination Dixie" advertisements that have appeared in print
and on broadcast stations to potential customers from Central Utah to Nevada and
Arizona have also be part of the on-going "financial stimulus" plan being
pursued by the Chamber. The theme for the annual Business Expo, "Dixie First"
which runs Wednesday and Thursday of this week at the Dixie Center is a
continuation of the Chamber efforts to put a focus on helping local businesses.
