SouthWest Federal Credit Union Hosting Charity Yard Sale - Proceeds to Benefit Day of Caring

SouthWest Federal Credit Union is hosting a charity yard sale on Saturday, June 6 at their Red Cliffs Branch in Washington, 1025 W. Red Cliffs Drive. Hours of the sale will be from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the United Way Day of Caring project.

SouthWest Federal Credit Union has made their charity yard sale an annual event, taking in donations from employees, members and the community. Each year the committee selects a different local charity to be the beneficiary.  Last year’s event raised more than $1,000 which was donated to the Children’s Justice Center.

“This is something all our employees look forward to each year,” said Marion Panganiban, Chairman of SouthWest Federal’s Community Service Committee. “We get the opportunity to come together and volunteer for some great causes.”

SouthWest Federal is seeking donated yard sale items. Please bring your donated items to the Tabernacle Branch at 333 E. Tabernacle by Wednesday, June 3.  Larger items can be received at our storage trailer in the parking lot of the Tabernacle Branch.
