Realtors' Rockin' Retreat for Education
The
Washington Board of Realtors' Education Committee invites all realtors
to the upcoming 2009 'Red Rock Retreat' to be held at the Dixie
Convention Center on June 4th and 5th. This two-day event provides
realtors an opportunity to meet all of the "CORE" course requirements
of the Utah Division of Real Estate covering a two-year cycle.
Realtors
will experience a fully entertaining and educational line-up with
quality instructors; Curtis Bullock, Esq., Legal Counsel for the Utah
Association of Realtors, David Johnson, Principal Broker for Keller
Williams Park City Real Estate and past Director of the Utah Division
of Real Estate, Ronnie Vause, a local 37 year industry veteran and
senior instructor on the faculty committee for GLVAR (Greater Las Vegas
Association of Realtors). Realtors can expect to be enlightened by
topics covering "Top 10 Technology Mistakes" and "If You Were Indicted
for impersonating a Real Estate Agent, Would you Be Convicted?"
Terry
Watson, a popular Keynote Speaker with a long list of NAR designations,
has been requested to return after effectively entertaining and
instructing realtors during last year's educational retreat. A teacher
of instructor development workshops, Terry has addressed audiences
around the world, most recently the National Association of Realtors.
Real
estate industry professionals who continue to advance their careers by
securing a strong educational foundation have made the commitment to
provide a superior level of professional service to their clients.
The
Washington County Board of Realtors' Education Committee continues to
play an important role by assisting members in increasing skills,
productivity and knowledge throughout the various designation programs,
such as GRI (The Graduate Realtors Institute). Designation courses help
to prepare real estate professionals to profitably and ethically serve
the real estate needs of their clients.
