Learn First Aid and CPR the Third Saturday of Every Month

The American Red Cross in the St. George area needs volunteers. You can help full time, part time or simply on occasion when you are available. You can help with important tasks like educating the public about preparedness or responding to disasters like wildfires, house fires, floods or evacuations. The Red Cross responds to about 200 disasters in Utah each year. Right now, the Red Cross needs more disaster action team members. In the event of an emergency, you’ll be trained to help people with shelter, food and clothing immediately after a disaster strikes.

First Aid and CPR instructors for lifeguard training are also needed.  Take a class:  the third Saturday of every month from 9 am – 2pm  learn First Aid and CPR ($60). Approved Red Cross volunteers may take this class for $10. For information, call 435-632-0996 or email sharrison@utahredcross.org
