Free Health Fair & Community Educational Seminar

BeeHive Cottages is sponsoring a Free Health Fair along with Intermountain Staff & Blackridge Chiropractic Associates on Tuesday May 5th beginning at 8:30AM.  Free Health Screenings will be offered including Blood Pressure, Blood Oxygen, Body Mass and Bone Density Testing.

In addition, at 10:00AM, Dr. Gilbert Escandon will be conducting a Seminar titled “Preventing Trips to the Emergency Room – Cuts, Burns & Falls”. 

Dr. Escandon is an Internist and Emergency Medicine Physician with more than 16 years experience.  He earned his medical degree at the University or Wisconsin, Madison School of Medicine, and completed his internship & Residency Training with the University of Washington, Spokane campus,  Dr Escandon previously practiced for the Group Health Northwest, Deaconess Medical Center Urgent Care Clinics, and most recently as Director of FastTrack with Spokane Emergency Medicine Associates at Deaconess Hospital ER, Spokane Washington.  He is currently practicing at the new Riverview Clinic with Dr, Judd Larowe, at Dixie Commons 435-656-2995.

Light Refreshments will be served.  There will be free educational literature & door prizes available.  Some of the local merchants that donated door prizes are Stapley Pharmacy, Tuacahn Center for the Arts, The Gun & Barrel Steak House, Audiology & Hearing Care of Southern Utah, and much more!
