All throughout 2009, the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce will be reinstating a tradition - The Milestone Member Recognition Award. This award goes to those outstanding Chamber members that have been a 'member in good standing' for 10 or more years. This week, at the Chamber luncheon, we are recognizing TV Video Clinic.
Jack D. Petersen is a loyal supporter of the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce and regularly attends weekly luncheons and the annual banquet. In the August 1990 issue of Trailer Life Magazine, there was a six page article about what a great city St. George was and how it was going to be the Palm Springs of Utah. Jack wrote the St. George Chamber of Commerce for a relocation package and received a good description of the area, climate location and business opportunities. In that package, Bob Michie offered to show him around and the rest is history. They bought a house and started the TV Video Clinic in January 1990 and he has been a Chamber member now for 15 years. Jack would like to thank all the Chamber members for their support as he has done repairs for many of them over the years. Jack’s partner, Bob Townsend, and he look forward to continued success in the TV repair business and look forward to serving you in the future.
The Milestone Member Recognition Award will be awarded to 45 businesses throughout 2009 that have shown excellence not only in Customer Service, but have also been active in the Chamber of Commerce and the community. These 45 members will each be recognized at a Chamber luncheon.
