Celebrity Concert Series Season Finale

The Celebrity Concert Series invites all to help celebrate the grande finale of their season by attending the Guild’s Backstage with the Steinway Luncheon. This traditional event highlights scholarship winners in the performing arts, gives a financial report to the Guild membership and introduces the new board for the coming season.
 
The public is invited to the luncheon which will be held on Wednesday, April 29 at 12:00 noon on the Cox Performing Arts Center stage. 
 
A delicious lunch will be served by CCS Guild board members and you’ll be inspired by the musical program and you will meet the incoming 2009-2010 board members.  
 
Each year the CCS Guild awards scholarships to deserving Dixie State College students in the performing arts. These auditioned students are selected by a panel of judges Dixie State College matches the money raised by the series which provides needed educational assistance to talented students. Winners are announced and will perform at the luncheon.
 
Backstage with the Steinway luncheon is a traditional event to celebrate the purchase of the 9' Steinway Grand piano by the Guild in 1980 and used for the excellent programs presented by Celebrity Concert Series.
