SunRiver has twelve angry citizens. Well not really angry but 12 local talents, directed by Jo Davis, will perform this month in an adaptation of the Reginald Rose play Twelve Angry Men. Show dates are April 20 through April 24. All performances, at the SunRiver Community Center (435-773-4100), are at 6:00 pm, with an additional matinee performance on Tuesday, April 22.
The 1957 film version of the play was selected for preservation in the U.S. National Film Registry by the Library of Congress. It is notable for, among other things, its almost exclusive use of one set. The SunRiver presentation will also be notable for its specially-built theater in the round. So be sure to experience this rare and intimate theater experience.
