Jonathon Noel, MBA, Enrollment Manager for the University of Phoenix, St. George Leaning Center announced today the addition of Brendan Dalley as a Corporate Education Liaison. According to Noel, “Dalley’s responsibilities will include increasing and maintaining positive awareness of the University within the corporate and governmental community. He will spend his days developing and maintaining business relationships with the primary goal of building this community through education.” Dalley will cover Education and Healthcare sectors, among others.
Dalley is a graduate of Dixie State College (Magna Cum Laude) with an Associates of Arts degree. He continued his education at Southern Utah University in the field of Education and graduated in 2000 (Cum Laude) with his bachelors of science in Education. He has dual majors in Special Education and Physical Education.
Dalley began his teaching experience at Riverton High School in Salt Lake City where he taught and coached baseball and golf for one year before accepting a job at Dixie High School. Dalley taught Special Education, Driver Education, and coached baseball and cross country at Dixie High for the next five years.
Noel noted that, “Brendan has a passion for education and knows of its benefits in life. Knowledge is power when correct principles are taught and applied. The right education can create an abundance of opportunities and one person makes a difference; one person can change the world.”
While teaching, Dalley created a number of personal businesses dealing with financial and leadership development. At the end of the school year in 2006, Dalley left the public school system and utilized his time learning more about the financial market working in the mortgage, insurance, and financial field.
During this time, Dalley accepted a position at a residential treatment facility as the Director of Special Education and Director of Adult Independent Living. During this time, he enrolled in a Masters in Counseling at the University of Phoenix.
According to Dalley, “I was extremely impressed with the education model and overall structure of the University, which lead to the acceptance of my current position of Corporate Education Liaison.”
Dalley is happily married to his wife Genevieve. They have six children (three each from a previous marriage). He is an avid golfer (consistently inconsistent), fly-fisherman, and hunter.
