Those are just three of the 10 nickname concept finalists Dixie State College of Utah has officially announcing for the second round of voting for the DSC's "Dixie Idol" campaign to come up with the institution's new nickname. Voters can gain access to the electronic ballot by visiting DSC's website at
This second round voting will continue through Friday, Dec. 5. Following this round, the field will be trimmed to the final three, and those finalists will move on to the final stage of competition during DSC's men's basketball home games in January and February, with the formal announcement of the winner coming in early April.
