HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors offers QuickBooks Training

HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors announced that new training courses for those interested in learning QuickBooks accounting software will be held on December 2 in their St. George office, located at 63 South 300 East, Suite 100.  The cost of enrollment is $65 for one class, $120 for two classes and $180 for three classes. There are three levels of instruction including Basic I, Basic II, and Intermediate.

Class Descriptions

Basic I:  Dec. 2nd  9a.m. – 11a.m.                                                 

Creating a new company, using QuickBooks for your type of company, using assets, liabilities, and equity accounts, getting around in QuickBooks, setting up chart of accounts, setting up preferences, using lists, using the navigator, and backing up and restoring data files.

 
Basic II:  Dec. 2nd  Noon – 2p.m.
 
Invoicing customers, receiving payments, making deposits, creating and paying bills, entering credit card charges and reconciling bank accounts.
 
Intermediate:  Dec. 2nd  3p.m. – 5p.m.

Invoicing customers with job costing, progress invoices, creating and applying credit memos, create and pay bills with job costing, set up and maintain inventory, payroll, payroll liabilities, sales tax setup and maintenance, shortcuts / time saving tricks, and invoice customization.
