‘Invented In Utah’ Elevates Utah Inventors
‘Invented in Utah’ is pleased to announce that it has garnered over $55,000 in inventor supporting services to be awarded to ‘Invented in Utah’ finalists. Finalists are selected from a field of applicants through a series of presentation and judging rounds. Applications will be accepted until January 31, 2009 at midnight. Visit www.inventedinUtah.com for event and submission details. Regardless of how far the inventor progresses in the competition portion of the event, each will be afforded the opportunity to attend Coaching Sessions designed to EDUCATE and CONNECT with needed expertise and resources. This was of vital importance to Jason Budge, last year’s 3rd place finalist: “You rub shoulders with many people that have the potential of becoming a key person on the team, or who can connect you with key resources to help you achieve success." Chris Eyring, the 2nd place award recipient stated “The entire experience left me with the feeling that someone does care about what an inventor has put his/her time into. The emotional attitude of the judges really motivated me to try harder and stick with my product.” It is anticipated that Coaching Sessions will be held on morning of January 17, 2009 at venue to be announced and that the following topics will be presented:
Klymit, Invented in Utah’s 2008 1st place award recipient stated: “‘Invented in Utah’ really helped us hone our presentation skills, and anticipate questions that we would later receive from investors, customers, and reporters.” 'Invented in Utah' is becoming Utah's premier inventor ELEVATING initiative.
