HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors Awards Two SUU Accounting Scholarships to Washington County Students

Morris Peacock, Managing Partner for HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors announced the scholarship awards to two Washington County SUU students at a recent banquet held at the Hunter Conference Center on the SUU Campus.  HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors hosted a dinner for the SUU Professional Accounting Club (PAC).  The 130 plus guest included students from the PAC, faculty of SUU, and associates of HintonBurdick.
 
As part of the program, Caleb Rees, a staff accountant in the Cedar City office and SUU MAcc graduate, presented on “Why I chose HintonBurdick”. He was followed by Shemree Mosdell, a SUU MAcc graduate, recent hire from the Las Vegas office of Deloitte & Touche and currently working in HintonBurdick’s St. George office audit department, discussed “Big Firm vs. Small Firm”.  Following these presentations, Morris Peacock, also a graduate of the SUU accounting program, gave an Introduction to HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors.
 
Peacock  concluded the evening with a Scholarship Awards Presentation to two Graduate Students attending SUU. Ashley Soper and Stephen Goodman, both Snow Canyon High School Alumni, were the recipients of the accounting scholarships..
