Dallin Smith Joins HintonBurdick CPA Firm
Morris Peacock, managing partner of HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors announced today that Dallin O. Smith has been hired as a staff accountant in the St. George office of HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors. Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from BYU-Provo, graduating with honors, and went on to earn a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Idaho. He served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and attained the rank of captain. In that capacity, he was the deputy commander of a base finance office where he was responsible for managing multi-million dollar budgets. His special areas of expertise are taxes and auditing. Peacock stated, “We are pleased that Dallin Smith and his family will be a part of our HintonBurdick family. Not only does Dallin have the knowledge, experience, and expertise to provide the best possible accounting services to our clients, but he and his family are already very much involved in the community and will certainly have a positive impact on the St. George area.” Smith’s wife Jenny is a native of St. George. She has a master’s degree in Vocal Performance and teaches voice. She has been a featured performer at the St. George Tabernacle. The Smiths have two children, Joshua, age 2 ˝, and Mary, age 5 months. “My wife and I love St. George,” Smith noted, “and we consider ourselves fortunate to be able to live here and raise our family here.
