The 3rd Annual Chili Event to benefit Dixie Care and Share will be held Sept. 27 at the St. George City Town Square on Main Street, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (or until chili is gone!). This year's chili aficionados include chefs from The Gun Barrel, Texas Road House, Scaldoni’s, Fish Rock Grille at the Ledges, Painted Pony, The Cosmopolitan, Chili’s, Cherry Creek Radio, and Champions of Dixie Care and Share Board of Trustees. Attendees can vote for the People's Choice chili award and enjoy the festival atmosphere with live music, and plenty of food-- hotdogs, hamburgers, deserts, and lots of delicious chili. The event also features a bouncy house for kids. Dixie Care and Share would like to thank this year’s sponsors for their commitment. Sponsors include: Soltis Investment Advisors, St. George Community Church, Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Bob Sands and Associates, Jean Ellis and family, Zion National Bank, Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, Dr. MacDonald, SMCC Desert Springs Church, Cherry Creek Radio, KCSG, and The Spectrum.
