Chris has a wide and diverse background in real estate. His work with land, resort developers, and home builders has taken him to Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin, Missouri and Arkansas. From condo conversions in Dallas to mountain retreats in Pagosa Springs to private gated golf communities in Branson.
With over 30 years of real estate experience, he has earned a number of designations including Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), and Certified New Home Specialist.
Chris is a member of the Realtors Land Institute and has experience with hundreds of land transactions, including land involving water rights.
When asked why Mesquite, Nevada he said, "The same reasons as everyone else, a safe place to raise my kids, great weather, awesome golf courses and no state income taxes. As a family we spend lots of time outdoors, from Lake Mead, the Grand Canyon, Zion, in the winter we like to go play in the snow in southern Utah, this place has it all”.
I really appreciate the level of quality planning done by the city of Mesquite in the past and I see that carrying forward into the future, and I prefer the small town atmosphere’. Laughing he says, "Someday I plan to retire here."
Virginia was born in South Dakota and grew up California. After a trip to Mesquite in 2005 to look for a place to retire, she and her husband, Richard, decided to go ahead and move here right away instead of waiting. They both say the only regret of moving to Mesquite is that they should have done it 10 years sooner.
Virginia was a licensed real estate agent in California for four years, prior to obtaining her Nevada license. She uses the internet to research new laws related to real estate transactions and to keep abreast of new developments and events that affect her clients.
Virginia has two internet sites that she uses to promote her business and the Mesquite community, www.mesquitehomesandcondos.com and her blog site www.mesquiteNVrealestateblog com. She uses her sites to promote sales of properties and to highlight her services as an agent for buyers looking to move to Mesquite. They have links to local web sites such as newspapers, the Mesquite Area Chamber of Commerce and weather information.
Virginia loves meeting people and making friends. She says "I am a family person and treat clients as I would want to be treated."
