Five County Association of Governments Announces Financing available for Qualified Businesses
Given the challenging economic times, 100% commercial financing is often difficult for start-up and early stage companies to obtain; however, there is good news! Financing for your growing business is available. Five County Association of Governments, servicing Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane and Washington Counties, provides financing for qualified businesses. The Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) is established to create permanent, long-term jobs within the southwestern region of Utah by providing “gap” financing to qualified businesses for eligible activities. Loans made through the RLF are intended to help bridge the gap created by shortfalls in commercial financing. Eligible uses of capital include: land and building acquisition; purchase of machinery and equipment; working capital (including inventory, accounts receivable, and labor); and building construction/renovation. The Loan Process Flowchart and Application Form can be downloaded from the Five County Association of Governments website at: www.fcaog.state.ut.us/dep/community/business.php. For more information about how the Revolving Loan Fund can assist in financing your growing business feel free to contact RLF Program Manager, Darren Janes at (435) 673-3548 or djanes@fcaog.state.ut.us.
