Accounting Firm Expands Cedar City Staff
In a move designed to better serve its growing client base in Cedar City, HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors announced the addition of longtime Cedar City resident Caleb Rees to its accounting staff. Rees recently received his Masters of Accountancy degree from Southern Utah University, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He served an internship with Deloitte and Touche, LLP, in Las Vegas and lists his primary areas of expertise as tax, audit and compiling financial statements. Robert Cox, partner and manager of the Cedar City office of HintonBurdick CPAs & Advisors stated that, “Caleb will be a valuable addition to our Cedar City staff. Having grown up here, he is familiar with the economic and business climate and knows the changes that have taken place over the years. That knowledge, combined with his accounting expertise and his dedication to the community, make him an ideal person to represent our firm in Cedar City.” Accepting the appointment, Rees stated that he is proud to be part of southern Utah’s largest accounting firm and believes he can continue the firm’s tradition of providing the best possible accounting services to its clients. “I value honesty above all things,” he stated, “and always present all the available options, not just those that I favor. I feel that one of my strengths is the ability to communicate financial information in a simple, understandable way.” Rees is married to the former Diane Mohler. They have one daughter, Daisy Pearl, who recently celebrated her first birthday. HintonBurdick is a full service CPA and accounting firm with offices in St. George, Cedar City, Hurricane, and Richfield, Utah, and in Mesquite, Nevada. They have been in business for more than 30 years and service clients in 47 states and some foreign countries.
