John Page from Lifeworkswest Presents This Week's Hypnosis Topic-- Trust
Trust is an amazing thing. Some people have it, some don't. I was shopping around for a new car on Saturday. I knew exactly what I wanted. I gave the salesman the make, model, color, everything. You would have thought he couldn't botch something like that, but botch he did! "Are you sure you don't want one of these other models?" Needless to say, I was pretty irritated. Something was irking me about him and I couldn't put my finger on it. While I didn't have conclusive proof that I shouldn't "trust" him, I still didn't. That's how prospects are these days. 20 years ago people thought "I trust you, give me a reason not to." Now it's just the opposite. "I don't trust you. You better give me a lot of reasons to."
Because this is such a vital topic for your success, we'll be diving into trust for the next 5 weeks, so watch your inbox carefully. In the meantime, I know of a great way to get us started on such an important subject. I recently read a study by the Gallup organization on trust. In the left hand column you'll see the profession, and in the right hand column you'll see what percentage of the general population trusts them. Where do you fit in? Profession | % Trust level | Pharmacist | 64% | Clergy | 59% | Medical Doctors | 57% | College Teachers | 53% | Policeman | 49% | Bankers | 30% | Journalists | 22% | Business Exec. | 21% | Stock Brokers | 19% | Congressman | 17% | Real Estate Agents | 16% | Investors | 16% | Lawyers | 14% | Insurance Sales | 11% | Advertisers | 10% | Network Mkt. | 9% | Car Sales | 5% |
So if you see yourself on that list, you've got some improvement to do! Even pharmacists got only a 64%! For more information, contact John Page BCH CI at 435-256-0315 or visit www.lifeworkswest.com.
